MY PERSONAL OPINION OF “HOLLY”

I got the ebook from my local library. Its been a while since I picked up a book from Stephen King and its been itching… so it was an easy pick.

I did not know what was about and did not read any review of this book. I went blind and I loved it!!! It was intense from the first page. I got hooked by Holly’s character, but then by the Harrises, and then by every victim and then… you get the point.

I usually tend not to pick long books (anything more than 400 pages), since I am usually busy with work, kids, and life, but I devoured this book like it was a short novel.

The book goes back and forth from the first victim to the present. As Holly goes about her investigations we start putting the crimes together, but we are always a bit ahead which makes the suspense meter go way up.

A solid read, great for a weekend read-a-thon! I truly enjoyed this book, it was what I needed with all the life things ongoing right now, this was a “stressful” but super relaxing (as in entertained) book.
