MY PERSONAL OPINION OF “THE HEART FORGER”

I got this book right after I read the first book The Bone Witch. I got the second and third book of the trilogy and it has taken me a full year to get to read it. I am glad I did! I read the book as part of my yearly book challenge in which I needed to read a #2 book in a series. It was the perfect choice.

I had a bit of time between the first and the second book, so it took me a bit to get back in the storyline but I loved it. Tea is still strong, smart, noble, brave, kind, powerful, and dark.

Tea in the past, to the bard telling the story from her point of view in the present. It is a long book which is not my preference, but this book reads so fast, and so easily, it is engaging at all times, with twists and turns as both storylines are told.

In my opinion, I enjoyed this book more than the first one, and I am so looking forward to reading the third one.
